Our 16-member Board is responsible for the overall character and stability of our school. It determines the mission and goals of our school, sets general school policies, provides financial resources through fundraising, and oversees the school's finances by approving the operating and capital budgets and by setting tuition, fees, and salaries. The Board selects and employs the Head of School, who in turn hires and supervises the faculty and administrative staff who implement the Board's decisions, policies, and goals.

Our unique, community-based Board of Trustees includes four Faculty Trustees (elected by the teaching staff), eight Parent Trustees (elected by parents), three Community Trustees (normally recruited from outside the immediate school community, who are elected by the Board), and our Head of School. Trustees serve three-year terms, for a maximum of two full, consecutive terms.
